Its almost reunion time, and in following with previous years we are again heading down to Buffs club for the annual reunion group dinner.

Date 12 - 13 August, the proposed programme is as follows:

2. Graham Bentz initiative

Wayne Weyer was recently approached by the school sports administrator, Daneal Steyn, with the following message:

Hi Mr Weyer

Re our telephonic phone call please see below.

I am Wanting to get Graham Bentz who is a rugby/conditioning coach to come to Port Rex on the 1st and 2nd of August to run a training clinic for our coaches and 1st team rugby boys.

Day 1 would be him coaching our coaches with different drills and skills that they can use from warm ups to full contact drills.

Day 2 he will be showing coaches what different things to do for conditioning for our players he will also draw up a program for our boys to follow in the build up for next year.

You can google him, he has great credentials and I think he will be a great assets to have for 2 days as a lot of our coaches can learn from him.

I am requesting that could the old boys please assist us in paying for his flights to and from Cape Town? I am also wondering if any old boys know of a good Bed and Breakfast that we could put him in?

Mr Weyer let me know when I can come meet with you and the other members to chat about our exciting festival next year.

3. Fun ride & Venter initiative

OPRA will be hosting a Fun Ride next year as part of our fundraising, planning has begun and we are looking for assistance with advertising, sponsors and personnel to help run the event.
